HI! I'M TIFFANY.

I'm running to be your next District 24 State Senator.

I grew up in Capitol Heights, Maryland, raised by a single mother who taught me everything I needed to know about resilience, hard work, and showing up for others.

In fifth grade, I was selected for the I Have a Dream program — a commitment that promised college scholarships to kids who stayed the course. I took that promise seriously.

I graduated from Central High School, earned my degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, and went on to study law at the David A. Clarke School of Law in Washington, D.C.

My work ethic started long before college. At 14, I was working alongside my mother managing rental properties — answering phones, supporting tenants, learning what it really means to be responsible for other people. That experience never left me.

Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work at the U.S. Department of Justice, contributing to a federal task force on date rape drugs. I helped produce a national report and was part of a historic briefing with Attorney General Janet Reno — one of the youngest people credited on that work.

After law school, I was appointed Chief of Staff to Maryland's Commission of Corrections, was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2004, and founded Alston Gray & Associates, LLC — my own law firm right here in Prince George's County.

Today, I serve as a State Delegate representing Maryland's 24th Legislative District, where I have built a strong record of leadership and results.

I sit on the Health and Government Operations Committee, serve on both the State's Medicaid Advisory Committee and the Oversight Committee for Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities, and serve in House leadership as Chief Deputy Whip and Deputy Parliamentarian.

But public service for me has never been just about a title. I've served as President of the Maryland Black Women's Bar Association, mentored students through the I Have a Dream Foundation, and taught financial literacy because I believe real change happens in communities, not just in chambers.

This work is personal. It always has been.

I'm a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.

I live in Bowie with my husband and our young adult child.
