This funding is transforming Capitol Heights, Addison Road, Morgan Boulevard, and Largo into thriving hubs of commerce, jobs, and opportunity. For decades, our community has been overlooked. Tiffany helped change that.

$20M+ IN Childcare Scholarships

Tiffany fought for and delivered over $20 million in daycare scholarship funds to allow parents — especially single mothers — to go to work, pursue education, and build economic stability. She also created a sliding-scale fee structure so that access to quality childcare isn't just for those who can afford it.

Guaranteed annual savings on utilities

Lawmakers called it the "crown jewel" of the 2026 legislative session — The Maryland Utility RELIEF Act passed in 2026, and Tiffany was part of making it happen. Every family in District 24 is guaranteed at least $150 in annual utility savings, as Maryland continues its progress toward sustainable energy.

Full funding FOR landmark education reform

Tiffany stood firm to ensure every dollar of Blueprint for Maryland's Future funding was protected, ensuring that Prince George's County children get the quality education they deserve by increasing state funding over 10 years and enriching student experiences.

Fight for Federal Workers Protections

Maryland has lost nearly 25,000 federal jobs since the Trump administration began its efforts to slash the federal workforce — the most of any state in the nation. Tiffany has fought back at every turn by protecting Medicaid, defending federal workers, and ensuring Maryland's state government stands as a firewall against federal overreach.

MAKING MARYLAND AFFORDABLE

The cost of living in Maryland has reached a breaking point for too many families in Prince George's County. Groceries, utilities, healthcare, and housing — everything costs more, and paychecks aren't keeping up. Tiffany knows affordability isn't a luxury; it's a right.

In the Senate, she will:

Lower taxes and fees on working- and middle-class families, putting more money back in the pockets of the people who earned it
Lower drug and healthcare costs by fighting pharmaceutical price gouging and expanding access to affordable prescription coverage
Protect Social Security and retirement security against any attempt to cut, privatize, or reduce the benefits Maryland seniors have earned
Stabilize housing, utilities, and grocery prices by holding corporations accountable and supporting policies that protect consumers.

IMPROVING ACCESS AND QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Education is the foundation of everything. From economic mobility and community stability, to public safety and personal fulfillment. Tiffany has been one of the most effective advocates for education in the Maryland General Assembly. Every child in District 24 deserves a world-class education — from pre-K to college.

In the Senate, she will:

Continue to protect and support Blueprint funding, which will increase per-pupil support for English language learners by 20% and double it for special education students, while opening more than 150 new family support and early education centers across the state.
Expand childcare access, building on her record of delivering over $20 million in childcare scholarships that make quality care accessible to every income level.
Increase the hundreds of thousands in college scholarship funding given through her office, so that no student is forced to turn down a college opportunity because of the cost.
Address the youth mental health crisis, ensuring schools have the counselors and wraparound support systems that students need to thrive

Continue the fight to bring high-quality retail, restaurants, and commercial investment to the district that creates jobs, builds community wealth, and gives residents reasons to stay.
Improve transportation options, expanding transit access to reduce traffic congestion, connect residents to jobs, and improve the quality of life across the district.
Protect our seniors and neighborhoods from crime, exploitation, and neglect by ensuring law enforcement is responsive, and community members feel supported.
Fight for accountability for violent offenders, ensuring that the justice system protects victims, and that repeat violent offenders face serious consequences
Invest in mental health services and prevention programs, because many of the challenges facing our communities, from substance use to youth violence, require treatment, mentorship, and community investment, not just incarceration

As a member of the House Health Committee and the Public Health and Minority Health Disparities Subcommittee, Tiffany has spent years working at the intersection of healthcare access and racial equity. She knows that in communities like ours, majority Black, with a significant share of working-class and fixed-income residents, health disparities are a matter of life and death.

In the Senate, she will:

Protect Medicaid and fight any attempt to cut healthcare coverage for the hundreds of thousands of Marylanders who depend on it.
Expand access to preventive care, including cancer screenings, maternal health services, and chronic disease management in underserved communities.
Address health disparities rooted in systemic inequity, ensuring that Black and brown Marylanders receive the same quality of care as everyone else.
Stand firm against any Trump-era attempt to gut healthcare programs that Prince George's County families rely on.
