WOMEN
FOR TIFFANY
For the Women Who Hold Everything Together
Tiffany Alston is a mother, a wife, an attorney, a community servant, and the only Black woman running for State Senate in Prince George's County.
She has delivered real results for the women and families of Maryland. She will continue delivering in the Senate.
THE SEAT IS OPEN.
THE MOMENT IS NOW.
In 1990, Gloria Lawlah made history as the first woman, Black or white, elected to the Maryland State Senate from Prince George's County. She broke that barrier so that women in our community would never again be without a voice in Annapolis.
Senator Joanne Benson has carried that torch. Fighting for the women, families, and seniors of our region with grace and determination. With her departure, that voice — a woman's voice, a Black woman's voice — is at risk of going silent.
I am the only woman in this race. And I refuse to let that happen.
If we want to ensure that Prince George's County continues to have a woman fighting for women's issues in Annapolis (healthcare, childcare, housing, safety, education), then the work starts right now, and I need your help.
Gloria Lawlah opened the door. Joanne Benson held it open. It is our job, together, to make sure it never closes.
This isn't just about electing a candidate.
It is about protecting a seat at the table that women fought too hard, for too long, to ever give up.

WHAT TIFFANY ALREADY DELIVERED FOR WOMEN & FAMILIES
$20 Million+ in Childcare Scholarships — Delivered.
Tiffany Alston fought for and delivered over $20 million in childcare scholarship funds for Prince George's County families. Tiffany also championed a sliding-scale fee structure so that access to quality childcare isn't determined by the size of your paycheck. Giving parents, especially single mothers, the freedom to go to work, pursue their education, and build the economic stability their families deserve.
Healthcare Protections for Women & Families — Delivered.
Serving on the Public Health and Minority Health Disparities Subcommittee of the Health and Government Operations Committee, Tiffany has worked to ensure Maryland's health policies don't leave Black women and families behind, from maternal health outcomes to Medicaid access and minority health equity.
Guarding the Care of Our Most Vulnerable Protecting — Delivered.
As a member of the Oversight Committee on Quality of Care in Nursing Homes and Assisted-Living Facilities, Tiffany has been a watchdog for the mothers, grandmothers, and aunties whose families trust these institutions to care for them.
Ensuring Medicaid Works for Families — Delivered.
Through her work on the Maryland Medicaid Advisory Committee, Tiffany has helped shape how the state delivers healthcare to working families, ensuring the system actually serves the people who need it most.
Making Government Work Better — Delivered.
On the Government Efficiency Commission, Tiffany pushed for a state government that spends smarter and delivers better, because wasted tax dollars are dollars not going to our schools, our health centers, and our children.
This is the difference between a candidate who talks about supporting families and one who actually delivers.
Maternal Health Equity
Maryland has one of the worst Black maternal mortality rates in the nation. Tiffany has laid the foundation to make this better as Delegate, and will continue to fight to expand access to prenatal care, improve hospital accountability, and ensure every woman in Prince George's County delivers safely.
Childcare & Early Education
She already delivered $20M in scholarships from the House. Imagine what she'll do in the Senate. Tiffany will continue to expand access to childcare, fight for Pre-K investment, and ensure the sliding-scale model reaches every family that needs it.
Affordable Prescription Drugs & Healthcare
No woman should have to choose between filling her prescription and feeding her children. Tiffany will champion legislation to cap costs, expand Medicaid, and protect coverage for preventive and reproductive healthcare.
Affordable Housing & Economic Security
Women are disproportionately impacted by housing instability and the wage gap. Tiffany will push for rent relief, investment in workforce housing, and economic policies that give women in District 24 a real shot at financial security.
Safety & Justice
Every woman deserves to feel safe in her home, her neighborhood, and her community. Tiffany's approach to community safety centers, prevention, support for survivors of domestic violence, and accountability systems that protect women.
